General Surgeon
Amyn is a specialist General Surgeon working in the South West, with interest in all aspects of General Surgery especially acute care surgery and trauma surgery.
Amyn is from Karachi, Pakistan. He graduated from medical school in 2002. After which he undertook general surgical training at the Aga Khan University Hospital and Graduated in 2010 after passing his fellowship exam FCPS (Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan). He undertook further post fellowship training in General, Acute care and Trauma Surgery at the same university and graduated in 2013.
Amyn came to Australia in 2013 and undertook a Trauma Fellowship for 2 years at the Royal Perth Hospital. After which he worked at the Bunbury Regional Hospital as a Registrar from 2015-2019. He undertook General Surgery specialist training and worked at various tertiary care centres in Perth attaining the highest level of surgical training and graduating as an FRACS in 2023.
Amyn is trained in Laparoscopic/open surgical procedures and his endoscopic training is recognised by the Conjoint Committee.
